I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter F 6266/5423/10 of the 18th of August on the subject of the Chinese regulations concerning Consular invoices and, with reference to paragraph 5 of the telegram No.569 from his majesty's Representative at Peking enclosed with that letter, to transmit to you to be laid before secretary Sir John Simon, a copy of a telegram from the Officer administering the Governmen of hong kong on the subject.
